Providing Plant Hire to those Harder to Reach Areas

A local landscaping business got in touch with us to ask us to provide a small digger for a garden renovation job they were doing and the job required a site visit due to access issues. Matthew went to site to look into the job and found there was no access directly to the rear garden which meant we would have to go through the front garden and down the side of the property. The front garden was raised from the road and fenced with glass panels.

The flooding led to the collapse of Grinton Moor Bridge between Reeth and Leyburn leaving the road completely impassable. The B6270 near Cogden was left standing but severely weakened and incapable of carrying any load.

The only option for this to work was to deliver the machine and lift it into the front garden with a telehandler. This was not only a difficult job but also one which carried an element of risk. The job was booked in and the glass removed. Matthew himself went down to complete the job as he wanted to ensure it went well.

As you can see from the pictures, job completed and customer happy.
